Sofainterlude: Who am I?

Teacher with Tablet

Trained teacher

My journey has led me to meet wonderful children throughout my adult life. However, their needs for learning and behavioral support continued to grow.

Always trying to respond to all requests, both personally and professionally, I fell in love.

And not a little.

Three psychiatric hospitalizations in one year.

During this time, my son and my husband did what they could to continue to have a normal life, despite my absences and my failings.

Today I am better. Every day, more, a little. One more step, one day at a time.

I want to share what helps me to walk.

What i can share

My experience

It is not medical advice, nor a therapist's advice.

I do not offer any guarantee of recovery. I can only suggest solutions which have proven to be useful for me and which are recognized by some as being effective.

Good luck and above all, happy reading!

My vision

I named this blog "Sofa Interlude" because, like many people who are going through a bad period, I found myself more often than not on my sofa, contemplating the void for a while.

Interludes are part of the concert of our lives. We will all have a slump at one time or another. My personal remission strategies are based on a concept of overall health. In my opinion, there is not just one way to heal. I firmly believe that we must multiply the various approaches and adopt them in an integral way. This is what I will exploit and tell here.

By the way...

You will notice that I will not name myself. Indeed, out of a desire to preserve the privacy of my family and friends, I feel that it is not necessary to know who I am, other than what I have experienced in terms of the process of mental health healing. I don't want to make any sales, offer no therapeutic support or make any promises. The only thing I know is that in order to learn to walk, you have to know how to fall and get up. This is what I always try to put into practice on a daily basis. I therefore suggest that you simply accompany me in this process, if that is good for you too!
